I will loose my job because of AI

Friends keep asking me if I think they will loose there job because of AI. “AI” is a very broad topic. It’s very hard to fully understand. That creates uncertainty and fear. While uncertainty is a great place to start. Fear is not.

Instead ask “How do I reinvent myself to stay relevant?”.

Being able to reinvent yourself, your partnership, or your venture has always been an important skill. Growth is happening at the edge of a system, not on your comfortable sofa.

I love uncertainty. It’s an exciting place to be in. Full of fascinating opportunities. Nothing to be afraid of. Always chasing that adrenaline boost when you finally crack the nut.

I will loose my job because of AI, and maybe you will too. But that shouldn’t stop you from reinventing yourself.

Just as Steve Jobs said in 2005: “Stay hungry. Stay foolish.”

When my friends ask me, my answer is “Everything is possible. Don’t let fear guide your way. Get up from that comfortable sofa and embrace uncertainty. Stay hungry. Stay foolish.”
