Stop Complaining!
A couple of weeks ago, coding tools like Cursor and Codeium’s Windsurf have been hottest 💩 on LinkedIn, X, etc.
Today, everyone and their hamster are bullshitting these tools for bad and unmaintainable code. Security problems surfaced with API keys made public, people injecting code, or manipulation of databases.
Also “that AI voice/video/website/builder is good, but still not great”.
Stop complaining! Really.
While you complain about these issues, other people are building prototypes that generate value. Makers like Pieter Levels are building tools and game prototypes that generate 100k+ in MRR. These tools help them enter markets, learn new things, gaining amazing insights, and reducing uncertainty about their ideas. All of this at the speed of light.
Pieter is building a flight simulator in public. He started to monetize it after a few hours of release. He shared it with his followers to get ideas and implemented these ideas within minutes. He learned AND shared what worked and what didn’t.
Hackers manipulated his flight simulator. Someone injected a flying saucer. He didn’t know who did it. With his attitude this “security issue” became a feature.
He didn’t complain about the copycats and hackers. Instead he launched #vibejam to encourage everyone to do it. So creator mindset, much inspiring.
None of these tools will give you the highest quality of output. But they will give you speed and impact. And that’s what the current state of AI is: SPEED.
These tools help you make your ideas EXIST. Once they exist and are put in front of real people you can see the value your ideas create. You can fix the problems and make it good later. Or you “kill” it. Next.
The speed of the feedback loop for creators has never been that fast in the past.
You can build the plane while flying it at the speed of light.
Stop complaining. Start creating.
